Curtice is located in northwestern Ohio in Ottawa County about 10 miles east-southeast of Toledo abutting the Lucas County line. Maumee Bay and Lake Erie are just 5 miles to the north.

Outdoor recreation can be found at Maumee Bay State Park on Oregon's northside 5 miles north-northwest of town and Crane Creek State Park about 10 miles to the east. In addition, Chippewa Golf Club, an 18-hole, semi-private club with an open guest policy, awaits the avid golfer.
