Fostoria Ohio

Fostoria is located in northern Ohio and stradles the Hancock County/Seneca County/Wood County lines (although at this writing, the majority of the city is located in Seneca county) about 30 miles south-southeast of Toledo and 10 miles northeast of Findlay on the banks of the East Branch of the Portage River. The population estimate for July 1, 1998 was 14,379, a decrease of 592 since 1990.

Golfers have a choice of 3 courses in the area including Fostoria Country Club, a private 18-hole facility with a reciprocal guest agreement in place; Lakeland Golf Course, a public 18-hole course and Loudon Meadows Golf Club, a semi-private 18-hole course with an open guest policy.
