Georgetown is located in southwestern Ohio in
Brown County (of which it is the county seat) 35 miles southeast of
Cincinnati about 5 miles north of the
Ohio River. The population estimate for July 1, 1998 was 4,048, an increase of 421 since 1990.
For those golfers wanting to experience a new course, the town invites you to try 18-hole Lakewood Golf Course or 9-hole Buttermilk Falls Golf Course. Both are open to the public.
Those wanting to do a little camping and fishing will find that Rocky Fork Lake and Rocky Fork State Park fill the bill.
