Green County Historical Society Museum

Located on Church Street, this museum is housed in a restored Victorian house. Next to the museum is the James Galloway Log House, built in 1799. The structure has withstood both a dismantling and rebuilding in 1936 and the tornado of 1974. The Carriage House Museum houses artifacts, exhibits chronicling 19th century living, railroad displays, antiques and documents of Greene County.
