Heath is located in central Ohio in
Licking County 25 miles east of
Columbus just southeast of
Newark on the banks of the Licking River. The population estimate for July 1, 1998 was 8,332, an increase of 1,101 since 1990.
Recreation can be found nearby in the form of Buckeye Lake and Buckeye State Park 10 miles to the south and Dillon Lake about 15 miles east of town. In addition, Forest Hills Golf Course beckons to golfers of all skill levels. It is a public 9-hole course with a USGA rating of 34.4 vs. a par of 36.
