Hubbard is located in northeastern Ohio in Trumbull County just northeast of Youngstown. The population estimate for July 1, 1998 was 8,078, a decrease of 170 since 1990.
[moscrela] and Mosquito Lake State Park are just 15 miles to the north-northwest for those seeking a recreational outlet. The lake is Ohio's 2nd largest inland lake behind Grand Lake St. Marys. In addition, Meander Creek Reservoir is about 15 miles to the west.
Golfers have a choice of 4 public courses: Deer Creek Golf Course, Doughton Golf Course and Hubbard Golf Course, each an 18-hole layout and Donnybrook Golf Course, a 9-hole course.
