Huron Ohio

Huron is located in northern Ohio on the shores of Lake Erie 50 miles east-southeast of Toledo and 5 miles east of Sandusky on the banks of the Huron River.

The town is one of several on the lake to be outfitted with a "Bessie Cam"--video equipment set up to, perhaps, catch a glimpse of the Loch Ness-type "monster". There have been several eyewitness accounts of sighting Bessie, the first in 1817 by French fishermen/settlers.

Thunderbird Hills Golf Course (North and South) and High Acres Par Three are public courses here while Sawmill Creek Golf & Racquet Club is a resort-style 18.
