Interstate 277 is only about 10 miles long but serves a vital role in the traffic flow around south
Akron. In the city's southwest corner, I-277 heads south from
I-77 about 2 miles to link up with
I-76. It then swings to an easterly direction intersecting with I-77 again as it emerges from downtown.
