Lawrence County Museum

Located on South 6th Street. The musuem features permanent and rotating exhibits about the iron idustry as well as Victorian clothing and furniture. It is housed in a restored 1870 Victorian house that once served as a way station on the underground railroad. Reverend John Rankin, a prominent abolitionist, lived in the house until his death in 1886. Open Friday through Sunday 1pm-5pm in April through December.
