His nephew, William Piatt, later redesigned it into a Flemish castle.

Mac-A-Cheek, a French Chateau, was built for General Abram Sanders Piatt at about the same time and has housed (at this writing) five generations of Piatts. It is named for the Mac-O-Cheek Indian tribe, a band of the Shawnee Nation. CODE left
