Miami University Art Museum

Completed in 1978, the Art Museum houses five galleries of changing exhibitions, a growing permanent collection of approximately 16,000 artworks, a lecture hall, a library study room. The museum was designed by Walter Netsch of Skidmore, Owings and Merrill, Chicago, and is situated on three acres of scenic sculpture park grounds. Exhibitions feature historical and contemporary art periods, decorative arts, and include diverse cultures of the world. These exhibitions draw from other museums in the United States and throughout the world, private and corporate collections, national traveling exhibitions, as well as the university's permanent collections.
