New Concord Ohio

New Concord is located in east central Ohio in Muskingum County about 65 miles east of Columbus and 15 miles east-northeast of Zanesville along I-70. The population estimate for July 1, 1998 was 2,033, a decrease of 53 since 1990.

Muskingham College calls the town home. One famous alumnus is John Glenn, the astronaut turned U.S. Senator.

Salt Fork Lake and Salt Fork State Park are located about 15 miles northeast of town while Dillon Lake and Dillon State Park are 20 miles to the west for those enjoy nature and watersports.

Wildfire Golf Club, built in 1966, is a public 18-hole course and they invite you to shoot a round with them.
