Norwood is located in southwestern Ohio in
Hamilton County just north of
Cincinnati about 2 miles inland from the
Ohio River. The population estimate for July 1, 1998 was 21,450, a decrease of 2,224 since 1990.
The nearest recreational facities are located in and around East Fork Lake and East Fork State Park about 20 miles east-southeast of town.
