Philo Ohio

Philo is located in southeastern Ohio in Muskingum County about 50 miles east-southeast of Columbus and 5 miles southeast of Zanesville.

Area recreation revolves around the Muskingum River which flows south past the town as well as trips to Blue Rock State Park and Blue Rock State Forest and secluded Cutler Lake about 10 miles southeast of town.
