George D. McDowell Exchange School houses kindergarten classes, seventh and eighth grade classes and high school classes. It offers language arts, math, science, history, reading, physical education and art computers, work and family, instrumental music, vocal music and enrichment art. It provides a variety of extra-curricular activities for the junior high students. Newspaper classes and Power of the Pen teams meet throughout the entire school year.
