Strasburg is located in northeastern Ohio in northwestern Tuscarawas County about 30 miles south of Akron and 10 miles north of New Philadelphia just off I-77. The population estimate for July 1, 1998 was 2,279, an increase of 295 since 1990. Recreation centers around activities in, on or about Beach City Lake just north of town or Atwood Lake about 15 miles to the east.
