Urbana is located in western Ohio in
Champaign County (of which it is the county seat) about 30 miles west of
Columbus. Nearby attractions include the
Ohio Caverns and the
Piatt Castles 10 miles north of town as well as Clarence J. Brown Reservoir and
Buck Creek State Park about 15 miles to the south.
Urbana Country Club is a private facility but with a reciprocal guest agreement for members of other clubs. They offer a challenging 6,650-yard, 18-hole course designed by Paul Dye, Sr. in 1929.
