Wilberforce

Wilberforce is located in southeastern Ohio in Greene County about 10 miles east of Dayton between Cedarville and Xenia along U.S. Highway 42. The population estimate for July 1, 1998 was 5,611, a decrease of 98 since 1990.

The town is home to Central State University and Wilberforce University for those seeking to enhance their education.

Recreational outings include trips to Clarence J. Brown Reservoir and Buck Creek State Park about 20 miles north-northeast of town as well as Caesar Creek Lake and Caesar Creek State Park 15 miles to the south-southwest.

Local attractions include the National Afro-American Museum.
