Willard is located in northern Ohio in southwestern
Huron County about 60 southeast of
Toledo and 15 miles south-southwest of
Norwalk, the county seat. The population estimate for July 1, 1998 was 6,652, an increase of 442 since 1990.
Willard Golf Club is a semi-private club with an open guest policy for the golfing public. Their 3,200-yard layout (from the Championship tees) plays to a par of 36.
Other recreational activities might involve Cedar Point amusement park about 30 miles north of town at the Lake Erie/Sandusky Bay juncture.
