Yellow Springs

Yellow Springs is located in southwestern Ohio in northwesternGreene County about 15 miles northeast of Dayton on the banks of the Little Miami River. The population estimate for July 1, 1998 was 4,315, an increase of 342 since 1990.

The town is home to Antioch College, a private, liberal arts college founded in 1852 by the Christian Church; it opened its doors a year later with Horace Mann as its first president.

Nearby recreation can be found at John Bryan State Park 5 miles east of town and Clarence J. Brown Reservoir and Buck Creek State Park 15 miles to the northeast.
