Blackwell

Blackwell is located in north central Oklahoma in Kay County along SR 11 and U.S. 177 on the banks of the Chickaskia River about 15 miles south of the Kansas border and about 95 miles north of Oklahoma City.

Local attractions include the Top of Oklahoma Historical Museum and the Derailed Railroad Company.

The population estimate for July 1, 1998 was 7,134, a decrease of 404 since 1990.
