Canton Lake is located in northwesten Oklahoma in Blaine County and is essentially a wide spot in the North Canadian River. It has 7,900 surface acres and forty-five miles of shoreline including sand beaches.The lake is known for its fishing opportunities and hosts the "Walleye Rodeo" in May of each year. The campground supports 115 individual campsites, most of which offer a panoramic view of the lake. Visitor amenities at Big Bend include three boat ramps, a group picnic shelter, two shower houses, electric hookups, and selected sites with water hookups.
