The Cibola National Forest contains more than 1.6 million acres and is spread over new Mexico, Texas and western Oklahoma. It is comprised of four ranger Districts and two National Grasslands, one of which, the
Black Kettle National Grassland, is located primarily in
Roger Mills County.
