El Reno is located in central Oklahoma in Canadian County (of which it is the county seat) on the banks of the North Canadian River near the State Game Farm and the Cheyenne and Arapaho Agriculture School. It is situated along historic Route 66. Many relics of the "Mother Road"-era can be found in the Canadian County Museum and elsewhere in the area.Located on and elsewhere in the area.
