Foss Lake

Foss Lake is located 12 miles west of Clinton in Custer County in west central Oklahoma on Hwy 73, two miles north on Hwy 44 and about 7 miles north of in west central Oklahoma on Hwy 73, two miles north on Hwy 44 and about 7 miles north of [i-40].

The 8,800-acre lake has 63 miles of shoreline and is fed by the [washitri] which is contained behind the world's largest earthen dam. One of Oklahoma's Technicolor sunsets can be seen by driving along the reservoir at dusk.

The lake is known for its catfish, crappie, sand bass and walleye fishing. CODE left
