Greenleaf State Park is located in eastern Oklahoma in
Cherokee County just south of
Braggs on SR 10 on the banks of the
Arkansas River and
Greenleaf Lake and features 14 cabins (some with fireplaces) on 565 acres. There are five campgrounds with 178 campsites, a community building, a nature center and an on-site naturalist. Recreation activities include a swimming beach, boating facilities, fishing, paddleboating, and marina. For hikers and cyclists, there is a hiking and biking trail. There is also a disabled-accessible cabin.
The nature center provides hands-on wildlife exhibits in a 1930s-era Civilian Conservation Corps-constructed bathhouse, one of many CCC structures in the park. The park is open daily except Christmas and offers group tours by appointment. Motorcoach parking is available and donations are appreciated.
