Hollis is located in extreme southwestern Oklahoma in
Harmon County (of which it is the county seat) west of
Altus about 5 miles from the Texas state line on U.S. Highway 62.
Local attractions include the Harmon County Historical Museum.
The population estimate for July 1, 1998 was 2,380, a decrease of 204 since 1990.
