Lake Ellsworth is located in southwestern Oklahoma the majority of which is in Comanche County with the northern portion in Caddo County. The 5,600-acre lake has about 45 miles of shoreline and lies about 15 miles north of Lawton.

Facilities include 41 shelters with electricity, primitive sites, restrooms/showers, swimming, sanitary dump station, grocery, restaurant, outdoor grills, picnic areas, boat ramps/docks and fueling station.
