Lake Thunderbird is located in central Oklahoma in
Cleveland County 13 miles east of
Norman off SR 9. The 6,070-acre lake has about 85 miles of shoreline and has given rise to
Lake Thunderbird State Park. Fishing is predominately done for bass, catfish and crappie. Waterfowl and bow hunting are allowed in season.
