Madill is located in southern Oklahoma in Marshall County on U.S. Highway 70.
The Red River, Lake Texoma, Lake Texoma Resort Park, and Tishomingo National Wildlife Refuge provide nearby recreation including world-class striped bass fishing. Other points of interest include Fort Washita, which was erected in 1842 to protect the Chickasaw and Choctaw tribes from the Plains Tribes, and the Denison Dam.
