Marlow is located in southwestern Oklahoma in northwestern
Stephens County about 10 miles north of
Duncan, the county seat. The town lies west of 3 viable lakes--
Lake Humphreys,
Clear Creek Lake and
Lake Fuqua.
Marlow is situated along U.S. Highway 81 which approximates the old Chishom Trail used by cattlemen who drove their herds to Kansas stockyards prior to the railroads becoming established.
The population estimate for July 1, 1998 was 4,446, an increase of 30 since 1990.
