Northwestern Oklahoma State University is located in Alva, OK, in Woods County 150 miles northwest of Oklahoma City near the Kansas state line. They are a public institution offering programs in liberal and fine arts, agriculture, business, professional training, and teacher preparation. There is one graduate school. The 70-acre campus contains 35 buildings including residence halls.
The University offers opportunities for students to join fraternities, sororities and over 40 clubs and organizations. Campus tours are available on request.
