Optima Lake is located in the Panhandle region of Oklahoma in Texas County about 5 miles northeast of Hardesty.The 5,340-acre lake with 31 miles of shoreline has 5 developed recreation spots including Angler Point, Hardesty Park, Hooker Point, Overlook Park and Prairie Dog Point. The lake is fed from the west by Beaver River and is the focal point of the Optima National Wildlife Refuge.
