Robbers Cave State Park

Robbers Cave State Park is located in southeastern Oklahoma in Latimer County four miles north of Wilburton east of SR 2.

Hidden in the hills, Robbers Cave is a favorite for rappellers, cave explorers, equestrians and outdoor lovers. The park has an abundance of lakes, caves, and wildlife sights. The 8,250-acre park has plenty of water area on Carlton Lake, Lake Wayne Wallace and Coon Creek for a combined water area of 189 acres. Belle Starr Lodge has 20 rooms while there are 26 cabins with a fireplace. There are five camping areas with 122 campsites, an assigned campground, two group camps (with capacities of 250 and 160).

The park features a nature center, an on-site naturalist, an amphitheatre, hiking and biking trails and an equestrian trail. Amenities include a swimming beach and pool, canoeing, boating and bike rentals. There is also a grocery and gift store.
