Seminole State College is a community college established in 1931 and located in central Oklahoma in
Seminole County about 60 miles southeast of
Oklahoma City. The Colleges service area covers
Hughes County,
Lincoln County,
Okfuskee County and
Pottawatomie County as well as Seminole County.
Academic Divisions (transferable) include Business and Computer Science; Health, Education and Recreation; Language, Arts and Humanities; Math, Science and Engineering; Nursing and Health Science; Social Science and Elementary Education and General Studies. Occupational Programs (job ready) include Business and Computer Science; Nursing and Medical Laboratory Technology which lead to Associates of Applied Science degrees.
