Tipton is located in southwest Oklahoma in western
Tillman County along SR 5 about 5 miles east of the North Fork of the
Red River and 15 miles northwest of
Frederick, the county seat. The neareast significant body of water is
Lake Fredrick, about 15 statute miles to the east.
