Wyandotte is located in northeastern Oklahoma in Ottawa County about 5 miles from the Arkansas state line and 2 miles east of the confluence of the Grand (Neosho) River and the Spring River near the northeastern most reaches of the Grand Lake O' the Cherokees. Nearby recreational areas include Twin Bridges State Park, about 5 miles to the northwest nestled between the 2 rivers, Honey Creek State Park, about 20 miles south and Bernice State Park, about 20 miles to the southwest.
