The Art Gallery of Ontario's first home and Toronto's oldest existing brick house is national historic site. It was built in 1817 and is fully restored to its mid-19th-century elegance. 50 galleries showcasing various art media covering 1,000 years can be seen. Films, lectures, and performances are available.
