The city is headquarters for the St. Lawrence Seaway Authority. Visitors can take a self-guided walking or bicycling tour on a recreational path along the St. Lawrence River between Cornwall and the migratory bird sanctuary near
Ingleside. The Seaway International Bridge links Cornwall island to the United States.
