The first national marine park in Canada is located at the tip of the Bruce Peninsula. The park protects the history of numerous ships resting at the bottom of the treacherous channel. The channel is the only navigable passage between
Lake Huron and
Georgian Bay. Glass-bottom tour boats offer excellent views of the more shallow wreckages, and divers can explore them as well. The surrounding islands offer hiking trails and interpretive displays for visitors to explore.
