Agnes Etherington Art Centre, Mrs. Agnes Etherington founded Art Centre in 1926. The role of the Agnes Etherington Art Centre has always been twofold: to serve the university and the surrounding area. The Agnes Etherington Art Centre is an active centre for the visual arts, builds on its reputation for the pursuit of excellence, acquires works of art in the public trust. The Permanent Collection which includes Paintings, sculptures and graphics by major Canadian artists, European old master paintings, Inuit prints and sculpture, antique silver and glass, heritage quilts and costumes, European graphics (Renaissance to 20th century), African art.
Students and childrens are Free everyday Free admission for all onThursdays Tuesday to Friday, 10 am to 4:30 pm Saturday and Sunday, 1 to 5 pm Monday holiday
