The complete tour takes about 3 hours with former miners acting as guides. They explain the various rock types, escape routes, and equipment as you tour an authentic gold mine. Visitors can pan for gold and watch a gold pouring demonstration. A typical miner's house from the 1920's, Hollinger Townsite Home, is on the premises. Warm attire and comfortable walking shoes are suggested.
