One of the oldest, best-known community theaters in Oregon, ACT has become a lively source of professional-quality entertainment for the entire mid-Willamette Valley. More than 300 volunteers each season work to produce a year-round schedule of plays and special events. Comedies, dramas, full-scale musicals; old favorites and challenging newer works - A.C.T. offers something for every theatrical taste, while providing exciting creative opportunities for local actors, technicians and others who love the theater. Operates entirely on ticket revenues and private donations.

Rhododendron Days Florence OR May17-19 The annual celebration of the blooming of rhododendrons along the central Oregon Coast.
Columbia Gorge Wine and Pear Fest Hood River OR May18-19 Start off the weekend with friends and fun featuring Columbia Gorge wineries and eateries. Highlights include entertainment, live music, wine tasting, great food, fruit exhibits with samples, and local artisans.
Gorge Blues and Brews Festival Stevenson WA June21-22 Fine collection of local craft brews and local wines, a multitude of phenomenal foods, and great blues music, while benefiting local charities in the Columbia Gorge.
