Alsea Bay Bridge

The “new" Alsea Bay Bridge was completed in 1991. The old bridge, built in 1936, was the first and only large coastal bridge designed by Conde McCullough that has been replaced. The new bridge has a clearance of 70 feet, and steel and concrete pilings reach more than 100 feet into the bedrock below.
