Amity

Amity is a small community located in Yamhill County, named after the amicable resolution of a dispute over schools. Ahio Watt founded Amity in 1849, and then later incorporated in 1880. It is in the heart of Oregon's Wine Regions of Oregon.

The community lies on Highway 99W and is a few miles south of McMinnville.

Amity is part of the Portland-Vancouver, Oregon-WA metro area. Also situated along the banks of the Yamhill River and just west of the Willamette River.

Come visit and join in on the Amity Daffodil Festival (mid March) and the Amity Pancake Breakfast.
