This trail offers excellent views of the John Day Valley, and allows access to Canyon Mountain and the west end of the Strawberry Mountain Wilderness. The 15.5 mile trail is rated as more difficult, and is accessible to hikers and horses June to November. For more information, contact the Blue Mountain Ranger District.
