This trail in the Rogue River National Forest, was named after two brothers who mined in the vicinity during the 1850s and 1860s. The trail offers a variety of opportunities ranging from historical sites to amazing views of Applegate Lake.
Visitors will view an abandoned miner's cabin and an inactive Sasquatch trap. Several mining tunnels are found along the trail - please do not enter!
From Star Ranger Station, travel south on Upper Applegate Road for 9 miles to Hart-tish Park. Hikers, horseback riders, and mountain bikers are welcome. The trailhead is located at the upper end of the picnic area parking lot. For more information, contact the Applegate Ranger District.
