Crabby's Underground Saloon & Steakhouse

Experience a Taste of the Old West

One of the earliest settlers to return to the area, which is now Pendleton after the Indian War of 1855, was a man named Joe Crabb. He was properitor of Crabb's Roadhouse, a travelers' stop between Boise and Umatilla. Crabb applied for and got a license to sell alcoholic liquor in quantities less than a quarter, which means he got the first license to sell liquor by the drink.

Crabby's is named after Joe Crabb, pioneer in Pendleton beverages. Join us for dinner and entertainment, Monday through Saturday.
