Del Rey Beach State Recreation Site is just a short walk from the beach in Gearhart, right off Hwy 101. The beach here is perfect for flying a kite, building a sandcastle, enjoying a picnic, or watching an amazing sunset.
A road from Highway 101 leads to a large parking lot with vehicle access to the beach. There are no restrooms. Motorized vehicles are allowed on this stretch of ocean beach, extending about 10 miles between Gearhart and Warrenton.
