This high alpine lake is located near the crest of the <a href="http://www.ohwy.com/or/c/cascamtn.htm">Cascade Mountains</a>, west of Mt Thielsen and north of <a href="http://www.ohwy.com/or/c/craterlk.htm">Crater Lake National Park</a>. It is connected by highways north to <a href="http://www.ohwy.com/or/r/roseburg.htm">Roseburg</a> and south to <a href="http://www.ohwy.com/or/m/medford.htm">Medford</a>, both on <a href="http://www.ohwy.com/or/i/i5.htm">Interstate 5</a>.<P>There are three United States Forest Service Campgrounds with over 400 camping sites around Diamond Lake.<P>     <P>
